This trick starts with a modified version of the Split Bottom Mount you’ve already learned.Your throw hand index finger faces outward this time.
Allow the yoyo to continue around to the non throw hand. It is sort of like a double or nothing, but you are throwing the yoyo front style. Drop the loop off the thumb and mount the yoyo.
Drop the counterweight and let it swing around back to the same hand. Mount the yoyo on the string furthest from your body. Drop the String on your index. Toss the counterweight around the outside of your body and land it back inside the gap. Now you’re in the mach 5 formation.
As you complete the first rep you are going to have to bring the mach 5 inside your body. After two repetitions stall the formation and bring it back for two reverse somersaults.
For the dismount drop the strings off the non-throw hand. Everything should come out cleanly.
