When you first show off Arm Cancel to the layman, they’ll put you on par with Houdini. The Arm Cancel is the photo finish type trick you’re looking for, especially with the cross arm catch for extra steeze.
To get this trick looking smooth you’ll want to work on dismounting the yoyo smoothly after the counterweight has landed on your arm. Dismount too early and you might miss the arm, too late and you could pull the counterweight off the arm entirely.
Also, work on the smoothing out the counterweight transfer when you go over your arm and make sure the cross arm catch looks good; that’s the prestige.
Once you’ve got a good handle on the trick, experiment with different dismounts, a personal favorite of mine is the turn around behind the head catch.
