Another 1A mount translated for 5a. Unlike it’s 1A counterpart, this one can be a bit tricky at first.
Throw the yoyo in front of you and pinwheel the yoyo inside your body. As you do this you are going to throw the counterweight in the opposite direction of the yoyo. The counterweight is going to travel quickly so be ready to catch it. After it’s caught, mount the yoyo on your throw-hand index finger for the Split Bottom Mount. It is similar to the Trapeze and his Brother trick you learned earlier in that the yoyo and counterweight intersect.
Once completed you’ll be glad you took the time because not only does it look cool, but also is fundamental to many front style 5A yoyo tricks. This is also a fantastic addition to the Shoulder Pop we learned earlier to make for a more robust looking trick.
