Worm Hole is a two parter. If you were to do just the first half of the trick it would actually be called Ripcord. I opted to teach Worm Hole instead becaue you’ll inevitably have to know ripcord to complete Worm Hole. Worm Hole has advantages outside of being a stand alone trick. The concept of doubling on the back strings to change the mount is frequently used in advanced combos.
Start with a Split Bottom Mount, swing the yoyo backward onto the two back strings. Quickly do it again. Drop the string on your throw hand index finger.
Everything should cancel out into a reverse bottom mount.
Now we’re going to perform the reverse action. Take the throw hand index finger and put it back into the formation, push your index against the two strings connected to the non throw hand. Flip the yoyo on to these two strings twice. Now drop the string on the non throw hand index finger. Everything should cancel out into a bottom mount. It is possible to continue to do many back and worth Worm Hole’s on any given spin.
